Shipping policy


At Lisa Carney Art, I take great care to ensure your artwork is securely packaged and protected during transit. This policy applies to orders placed directly through my website.

Processing & Tracking

Original artwork is typically prepared and shipped within 2 business days after payment is received, unless otherwise noted on the product page.

Fine art prints are produced to order by my professional printing partner, Pictorem. Production time varies by format and is additional to shipping time. Please contact me before ordering if you need a print by a specific date.

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

Original Artwork — Shipping Locations & Costs

Canada & United States
Shipping is free. Free shipping covers transportation costs only. Any applicable sales taxes, customs duties, import tariffs, brokerage or processing fees are separate.

Other International Destinations
A flat-rate shipping fee applies. Shipping costs are displayed at checkout. Any applicable import charges are separate.

Fine Art Prints — Canada & United States

Fine art print reproductions are produced and shipped by Pictorem. Canadian orders ship from Montreal, and U.S. orders ship from within the United States. Pictorem has confirmed that no import tariffs apply to these print orders. Applicable sales taxes may still apply.

Ground shipping is free within Canada and the continental United States. All offered print formats are available for these destinations, including rolled prints, stretched canvas, and ready-to-hang options.

Express shipping is available at an additional cost based on size. Please contact me before ordering to discuss availability and pricing. Express shipping does not shorten print production time.

Fine Art Prints — Other International Destinations

Only rolled prints are available for other international destinations. Please choose Rolled Canvas or Fine Art Matte Paper.

Stretched canvas and ready-to-hang print formats cannot be shipped to these destinations.

A flat-rate shipping fee applies and is displayed at checkout. International orders may also be subject to the import charges described below.

Estimated Delivery Times

Once your order has shipped:

  • Canada & United States: Delivery usually takes 3–10 business days, depending on the destination and shipping service.

  • Other international destinations: Delivery usually takes 10–20 business days, depending on the destination and customs processing.

These estimates exclude order preparation and print production time. Delivery dates are not guaranteed and may be affected by customs clearance, carrier delays, holidays or weather.

Customs, Duties & Import Charges

Pictorem-fulfilled prints shipped to Canadian and U.S. customers are covered by the print shipping arrangements above. No import tariffs apply to those orders, as confirmed by Pictorem.

Original artwork shipped outside Canada, including to the United States, and prints shipped to other international destinations may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, brokerage or processing fees.

These charges are separate from the artwork price and shipping costs. Unless specifically collected at checkout, they are the responsibility of the buyer or recipient. Free shipping does not cover applicable import charges.

Oversized Original Paintings

Unless otherwise specified on the product page, original paintings on canvas larger than 48 inches are removed from their stretcher bars and shipped rolled in a protective tube.

This method helps protect the painting during transit and reduces shipping costs. The painting will need to be re-stretched or framed upon arrival. Local re-stretching and framing costs are not included in the purchase price.

Please review the product description for the shipping presentation of your chosen artwork. This oversized-painting provision does not apply to prints ordered in a stretched or ready-to-hang format.

Packaging & Presentation

All artworks and prints are shipped in protective packaging appropriate to their size and format.

Original artworks are shipped framed, ready to hang, unframed or rolled as specified on their product pages. Prints are shipped in the format selected when ordering.
