Solar Bloom - Now Available!
I’m happy to share that Solar Bloom is now available on my website.
This painting developed slowly, through a process of layering. I worked back into it many times, allowing the colours to shift and settle rather than forcing a fixed outcome. What remains is a balance between structure and softness.
The palette leans toward warmth, but with subtle variations that emerge more fully in person. As with much of my work, the surface carries quiet changes that reveal themselves over time and from different viewpoints.
In the studio, this piece felt less like something constructed and more like something uncovered, a gradual clarity rather than a single decision.
